Show the students different colours of hair with pictures or other examples black blond brown and red Say the words with the class as you work
Divide the class into groups of about six students Give each group some magazines The groups cut out pictures of people’s heads showing different hair types long short straight curly blond red brown or black Each group glues their pictures on a large sheet of paper and labels the pictures with the correct words (For example long hair black hair curly hair)
If some groups cannot find certain types of hair such as red blond or curly they can draw pictures
