    8A Unit 2 Numbers Writing

    l Teaching objectives
    1 Knowledge objectives
    a Students can review some basic expressions about numbers
    b Students can know the differences among charts in our daily life

    2 Ability objectives
    a Students can understand how to use new expressions to show the rise and fall of numbers
    b Students can use proper conjunctions to polish their own writing

    l Teaching key points
    Enable students to notice the changes in numbers and use proper expressions to show the fluctuations

    l Teaching difficult points
    How to make students diversify their expressions to show information related to numbers and use these expressions properly

    l Teaching procedure
    Step 1 Revision
    Lead students to review some number expressions they learned in the former class

    Step 2 Leadin
    a Show some charts and ask students to find out the differences
    b Clarify the use of each kind of the charts in our daily life

    Step 3 Warmup
    a Ask students to observe a kind of chart and fill in the blank
    b Show students how to use specific words to show the changes from charts

    Step 4 Prewriting
    a Ask students to figure out the numbers inside the chart
    b Instruct students use the new expressions to complete sentences
    c Direct students to use the expressions to complete a report

    Step 5 Whilewriting
    Encourage students to use complete sentences to show the change from a chart

    Step 6 Postwriting
    a Let students correct the mistakes inside a writing
    b Ask students to learn to use proper conjunctions and know how to polish their own writing

    Step 7 Homework
    Ask students to collect their English scores in the last semester and write a report about the changes
