After greeting students I will invite students to sing a song called What’s the weather’ like thisThis can arouse students interest and get students move into the class more quickly and naturallyThen look at these pictures of four seasons and these words Match and review
Step2 Presentation
Listen and tickWhere is Chen Jie and Mark
Listen again and answer the questions
What’s the weather like in New York and BeijingThen check the answer
Mark and Chen Jie are talking about the weather in their cities Why Chen Jie says it’s warm but Mark thinks it’s cold Let’s watch the videoThen discuss in your groupBecause they are using different units of temperatures
Next Let’s read and fill in the blanksPlease pay attention to the words about weatherIt can improve their ability of extracting information
Then listen and imitatepay attention to the pronunciation and intonation
